The Atmosphere Sky Replacement Carbon (Odor) Filter effectively reduces formaldehyde, dioxin, and ozone, as well as odors from smoking, cooking, and pets. This unique filter is made up of activated carbon particles. The activated carbon in our carbon filter comes from coconut husks and has a complex system of tiny, connected pores with a surface area equaling 220 football fields. When an airborne molecule comes into contact with the carbon filter, it gets absorbed and remains there for the life of the filter.
